Maybe Autodesk should concentrate on getting their own format correct first, before picking on others.
I use Revit, and I have 2 support requests with them. One for exporting from Revit, where lines don't export (happens consistently), and the second where extra lines are added when importing a DWG file into Revit (happens occasionally). The first one has been with them for nearly 2 years now, and almost 2 releases  .
